Shan TAB was engaged for the augmentation of the existing HVAC system at the SABIC Technology Center in Jubail, supporting the expansion of cooling capacity for critical research and technology operations. The project required careful integration of new systems into an operational facility without disrupting ongoing activities.

Scope of Work
The scope included the supply & Installation of Air-Cooled Liquid Chillers Air Handling Units, Pumps, Central Split DX Unit with including all related Civil and Electrification Work. . Shan TAB coordinated closely with the client and project stakeholders to ensure compatibility with existing systems. The project was executed in partnership with Carrier Saudi Service, ensuring manufacturer-aligned installation and performance standards. Comprehensive Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing activities were carried out to validate airflow, water flow, and system performance.
Technical Highlights
The HVAC augmentation was designed to enhance cooling reliability and operational flexibility. New chillers and DX units were integrated with existing electrical switchgear and control systems. Performance testing confirmed stable operation under varying load conditions, while TAB procedures ensured balanced distribution across all served areas. All work was completed in line with industry standards and site-specific technical requirements.

The completed augmentation significantly improved the cooling capacity and resilience of the SABIC Technology Center.
