Shan International was appointed to carry out a comprehensive HVAC system assessment at KJO Hospital in Khafji, a critical healthcare facility requiring reliable environmental control. The objective of the project was to evaluate the existing HVAC system performance, identify operational deficiencies, and verify compliance with healthcare ventilation and comfort requirements.

The scope included a detailed inspection and assessment of the hospital’s HVAC systems, covering air distribution, ventilation effectiveness, and overall system condition. Shan International performed Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) activities to measure airflow rates, temperature consistency, and pressure relationships across patient areas, clinical zones, and support spaces. The assessment also focused on identifying design gaps, operational inefficiencies, and areas requiring corrective action.
