Shan Intl. successfully executed comprehensive Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and HVAC commissioning works at King Saud University in Riyadh, one of the Kingdom’s leading academic institutions. The project focused on verifying system performance across multiple facilities to ensure occupant comfort, safety, and compliance with international HVAC standards.

Shan Intl. provided complete HVAC system testing and commissioning services, including air and hydronic balancing, staircase pressurization testing, sound and vibration analysis, indoor air quality assessment, and duct leakage testing. Each system was evaluated under real operating conditions to confirm alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements. Detailed testing procedures were applied to support energy efficiency, safety, and long-term operational reliability.
Technical Highlights
The project involved precise airflow measurement, pressure control verification, and performance optimization of HVAC systems serving academic and common-use spaces. Staircase pressurization tests were conducted to support life safety compliance, while sound and vibration testing ensured acceptable acoustic performance.
