Shan International was appointed to perform complete Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) services for the SABB Headquarters in Riyadh, a high-profile commercial facility requiring precise environmental control and strict performance compliance. The project focused on validating HVAC system performance to ensure occupant comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.

Scope of Work
The scope included full HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing, followed by system commissioning to verify performance against design intent. Shan Intl. conducted staircase pressurization testing to ensure smoke control effectiveness and carried out sound and vibration testing to confirm acceptable acoustic performance. In addition, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing was performed to assess ventilation effectiveness and maintain healthy indoor conditions throughout the building.
Technical Highlights
All TAB activities were executed using calibrated instruments and industry-recognized procedures aligned with ASHRAE and NEBB-referenced practices. Airflow distribution, pressure relationships, noise levels, and vibration were carefully measured and adjusted to achieve balanced and stable system operation. Detailed documentation and reporting were provided to support system compliance and long-term facility
